Hi there,

We are Bill and Lil (yes, you read that right) husband and wife, parents of three wonderful children, and grandparents of ten precious grandchildren!

Both of us are so very thankful and beyond blessed to have been forgiven and completely changed by the Lord Jesus Christ. Our lives would be nothing without Him! We spent 20 years of our lives as foreign missionaries sharing the love of Christ with the wonderful people of Japan. Health issues prevented our return there, but we continue to reach out to Japanese friends living here in America.

We homeschooled our children and we are so blessed to see them walking in truth and teaching their children Bible truth.

Two years ago we had the idea of creating a handmade wooden peg doll nativity set and selling it at our local Christmas market. It was 2020 and as the pandemic continued, the world felt dark. The darkness around us felt heavy and burdensome. We started making these Bible story sets with a dear friend, spending our time together praying for burdens both small and great as we painted and worked with our hands. The process of spending time in prayer, fellowship and working with our hands brought our hearts much JOY!

So…here we are Officially launching Joyful Hearts Creation online storefront.

Our desire is to create Bible story sets that families can set up in their homes. Whether for play or display, we know these sets will be a blessing in your home.
